Sport Success

For the third year in succession students at Hills Road Sixth Form College have been awarded the coveted Clifford Dixon Trophy.

This prestigious trophy is awarded to the East of England Champions on the basis of results gained in 35 competitions in 13 different sports. Hills Road sports students amassed a total of 180 points over the season beating their nearest rival, Colchester Sixth Form College who were second with 96 points. South East Essex Sixth Form College were third with 103 points. 

Hills Road teams were regional winners in eight sports (Badminton, Cricket, Hockey (men's & women's), Netball, Squash, Tennis, Volleyball (men's). They represented the East region in the National finals in Nottingham in April. Hills Road individual students were also part of the East representation in Golf and Cross-Country.
